The Mexico-North Research Network will hold its “IV Forum on Transnationalism and Transnational Communities” on October 27-28, 2004, in Washington, DC.

The Forum will begin in the morning of Wednesday, October 27, with presentations by leading scholars on diverse topics related to U.S.-Mexican transnationalism. The first session, on “Transnational Research & Education” will begin at 10 AM and will conclude at 12:15 PM; the second session, on “Transnational Integration & Identity Construction,” will begin at 2:30 PM and will conclude at 5 PM.
A reception will be held immediately following the presentations and discussions.


On Thursday, October 28, Mexico-North’s 2004 Transnationalism Fellows will present the results of their fellowships projects and will exchange perspectives on their research with other scholars specializing in U.S.-Mexican relations.
